downtune explore exp now that we've powerhours to give a kickstart to the
newbies, now they actually would need to kill something instead of running
around invisible.

dont. exploring is still much more interesting way to make exp than just
hacknslash

This place is reserved for something more intelligent.

even if you just check maps from maroon and run invisible.

Disagreed. The two things (power hour vs explore xp) serve two different
purposes, and are orthogonal to one another.

You made the point perfectly. They are orthogonal, not parallel! As far as I
know, explore exp is affected by power hour, so by giving newbies the benefit
of double exp for running around invisible seems unfair to all the other
players who were not given this opportunity. Power hour exp is equally
available to all players--double valued explore exp is not.

Either exclude explore exp from power hour, or reduce explore exp (but not
necessarily halve it).
