These days there are many societies, which sole purpose is to get people with
some interests to one channel and chat about the that on the channel. Usually,
the current channel last buffer (30 lines) can be filled in 1-15 minutes (not
counting those quotes/spam etc). Also the sales channel may occasionally be
flooded by interesting sales.
I propose that something should be done to overcome this weakness:
1) Maybe it could be an ability like (example) "memory of an elephant".
Looking at the ability list, the range for such powerful ability should
probably be more, like in the 10M-15M range. "5% of this ability enhances X
lines of your channel backlog". I say X here, because many times 20 extra
lines simply aren't enough. IMHO, 4 would be better. This also strengthens the
10M+ total cost point.
2) Make it an option to buy at the society room. This would not solve problem
on public shannels.
3) Just up the limit of last to 100 (or more). I guess this would be unlikely
to happen, since it has been asked for before.
