It is interesting to look at the way some of the MMORPG's have implemented
their EQ systems. For example on World of Warcraft. All eq that drops from EQ
monsters (bosses) is BOP (Bind on Pickup) which means it is bound to you, you
cant sell it to somebody else to use. (like santa EQ but with a shop value).
As bad as this sounds it actually works very well. Since when you get eq
upgrades your old eq goes to the shop and you don't get an endless amount of
EQ circulating the game causing deflation of prices. It also encourages all
players to do EQ groups.Of course there is still alot of equipment in the game
that is BOE (bind on equip) which can be sold to others (if not worn), this EQ
tends to drop randomly of monsters.

I am not saying this is the correct approach I am just informing you of how
some other games deal with the ever increasing number of items in the game
that leads to a broken economy.
While I am talking about WoW, I might add that the way they deal with Pkilling
is also good. Rather than having a permanent pkill flag like we currently do,
why not allow it to be turned on at any time? If you are not participating in
PvP for a period of say 20 minutes then the flag automatically drops off. The
number one reason people do not join PvP clans on this mud is because they do
not want to have a permanent pkill flag until their next reinc. If the system
allows for PvP when you felt like it and no PvP when you wanted to do eq etc
then I'm sure there would be a lot more PvP action than there currently is.
Example, 1. when you are flagged somebody who is not flagged can attack you
but when they do they become flagged also. 2. You can't earn points from
killing somebody who is not flagged. 3. You have to initiate the attack to
become flagged. 4. Your flag drops after X minutes of no PvP activity. 5. You
can turn your flag on at any time by typing some command. 6. You would show in
a different colour when you are flagged.

Just some ideas, I hate seeing Favourit's PvP clan system going to waste after
all the effort he put into it.

How we know which one attacks who? If flagged player attacks non-flagged, but
non-flagged starts spell with quick chant and flagged skill is too slow, does
it mean the non-flagged just attacked the flagged and thus becomes flagged
too, even if he didn't attack first? Just asking, that's all.
