Make it possible to purchase a 'remote' option to the society module that
would allow sending messages to society's channel from outside the mud. After
the option has been bought, guild masters can define a remote password at
the guild room. Using this password external services could send messages
to the society's channel using e.g. HTTP GET. The messages would appear on
the channel without any sender, for example:
[society+]: A new party 'Rolf' has been registered.
Why? Nowadays most (eq-)societies use external websites for keeping track
of incoming parties and distributing equipment. Being able to inform society
members about happenings in the web would be very convenient, easening the
strain on browsers' reload buttons. And I guess this would open doors to all
kinds of fun player-made stuff
