I'd just like to ask if it is ever coming back. I think it was a generally
popular tune, and would personally like it back in the game, but really I'm
just curious.

yeah it will be back, it's something I'd like to reimplement when I get some
time. Right now it's near the top of my lists of some code projects I'd to do
the next time I find time/motivation to devote some effort into Bat.
