As I was discussing politics with a friend the other day, we stumbled across
an issue we both agreed upon. An administration that is cloaked in mystery,
such as the Bush Administration, causes confusion & anxiety whenever they
handle a situation or implement new policy.
It was at the end of this converation that I realized that this applies to
BatMUD and its development also. We mortals often get the impression that
changes are happening on a whim and we do not understand the vision or goals
of the Wizards. To pierce this shroud of mystery, I suggest the following:
(also forgive me if I'm a bit unclear, I'm recovering pooly from a whiskey
bender.)

On Bat's WWW site, make a page, which only logged in users can view, that
displays the various projects that wizards are working on and their status.
Also, allow for users to add comments on each project that only the developer
sees. If the user makes a comment that is innappropriate or annoying, the
developer can ban that user from making such comments from now on. This will
help users give input to the wizards and will help mortals see what direction
the game is going.
