This idea is very experimental but I\'ll give it a shot: Player beings.
There should be possibility for players to create outworld monsters/creatures.
These new kind of beings would fuel player vs. player-kind of gaming and add
more danger to casual outworld travellers. Basicly there would be an option to
create a new outworld being very much in the same way as we create mortal
characters. These beings would be creatures of legend, mythical beasts and
normal animals. Undead, demons, dragons, bears, alligators and so worth.
Player who creates such a being would have full control over it, but not be
able to enter areas and cities. Also these beings would be somewhat weak in
the start of their lifespan, but would gain more powers and abilities by
killing normal player characters (and maybe normal ai-driven outworld
creatures). Most likely these player beings wouldn\'t be able to make parties,
but could get somekind of pack-bonus if attacking in great numbers the same
target.
As mentioned, these new kind of beings would primary be not only for player
killing, but also for fun! The total amount of player beings would be limited
to a certain realistic level, so the whole Batworld wouldn\'t be overrun by
these bloodthirsty creatures. Also there could be some \'guild system\' for
these creatures; Each type of beings could have racial leaders and so on.
Normal mortal/player characters should get nice exp for killing these
\'intelligent\' monsters, depending on the lifetime and power of player
being.
