Hmm, how about some item, maybe ranger store item, anyway, that will
allow fires to be built in rooms with some water in them. I'm not talking
about building a fire in the middle of the ocean, but in a room with maybe
water up to your ankles or so, have some sort of disposable mat that
you can build the fire on top of. Maybe make the fire duration shorter,
IE, your fire burns through the protective mat and the water here puts
it out with a hiss. Anyway, stuck in a swamp and the idea came to me

Dunno about those mats but around here (in archipelago) we just build big
enough fires so that there becomes dry wood above water. Works.
