Could we have an auction hall usable by a remote interface?
Yes we have sales channel, yes we have the cubes. But how
about a hall where you can put your eq for sale. Obviously
you have to give your eq to the auctioneer, and put a
minimum price for it. The system would automatically
show the sac-value for the item, the complete desc and
such (to prevent cheating), and tell if it's <magical>
or not. And the names in the eq also.
You'd give a minbid, and then people have 1-5days time to
bid for it (merchants would have more), and the last bid wins.
To avoid the:
'last-bidder-wins-so-lets-spam-the-system-like-hell', the
deadline of the item moves forward if a bid is made like five
minutes before the end, and so forth.

So, all the normal gibbets that a reasonable auction house has.

This would turn sales-channel to more of a advertising
channel for your auctions. This would also help people
who sell large amounts of eq. The system could also be
connected to the cubes.

It would _really_ help people who are looking for a specific
eq, and who have to wait for someone to be online and sell the
eq.

It's not too suffeli if you ask me, and it would just encourage
more eq sales as you don't have to be advertising them all the
time and be available to fetch the eq for the buyer.
And you wouldn't have to be shouting 'wanted <xyz>' all the time.
You could just 'auction search <item>'

And I really point the idea -'remote'-. The whole idea flops
if you have go to BC in to some room to check the items.

Those ideas and more (user defined lenght of auction rounds per item, item
listings trough tells, item listing by kategorys, delivery service, partial
identify for items, information about storage time, pcity auctioneer blocks,
bug about selling items from keep to be fixed [that was fixed, thanks to
Favorit], minimum handling fees, automatic marketing/shouting, able to
ignore/follow offers of certain kategory of items, warning about storage time
runing out, able to adjust buyout price after the biding has started, adding
auctioneer to pcity tour + all the things i dont remember out right) were
suggested to JUGGELO for quite some time back.
I suggest you pull his sleeve and ask about the progress. He did say he would
take look at it.
