Hey there!
How about a setting for "set ssitems hide/show"
It would hide yours and others ss items.
Why? well because ssitems make it very hard to see people's scars, eq,
health, and causes general spam.
Those that like ssitems alot could just not use this setting.
Please?

Well the argument against that has always been (as far as I recall) that the
society owners had to pay for the privilage of getting an ss item, and then
having half the mud not see them would be a waste, or bad, or something.
Though I do totally support being able to hide your own ss items (if not
everyone elses too), and I can't see why that should be a problem.
