What is the logic behind hind this?.
example (1). short swords hit two hits per round each weapon.
example (2) 2h sword hits one hit every second round.
but when mob is stunned. 2h hits about once every round if true stun, and
short sword hits the same.?
could the weapon speed be added to stunned monsters also, becose now days most
logical is to get as big weapon as possible to do max damage.
since most of exp parties use stuns as means to get damage delivered, would be
fun if some great weapons like waino swords etc would
be much more usefull in partyes than cheap blades like kurgan etc... just a
idea.
my facts might be wrong but some fixing could be in order.

Well logic is not really a necessary basis for any game mechanic but I admit
it is always nice when it can play a part. That being said I am not going to
try to explain some logic behind this behavor as I am sure any reasonably
creative person can invent some nice sounding logic to explain it.

It works the way that it does as an attempt to strike a balance between fast
and slow weapons. hopefully giving them different purposes in the game (a
tool for every situation so to speak). Whether that is perfectly achieved or
not I don't know (I doubt it is)... could it be better, well maybe.

But to your specific request, I don't actually understand what you mean by
"could the weapon speed be added to stunned monsters also"

I am guessing you mean to make the fast weapons speed up also against stunned
monsters, and if so it used to be that way and was changed for a reason.

Arguably, the old system was balanced (for some definition of balanced), and
with the weapon speed tune even then rarely used sblades got used even less.

What is the purpose of sblades now:? Let me think.. Priests habo damage was
tuned. No go. Sabres don\'t hit even the little they did before against
stunned foes. Noo.. not that either. Probably the one of the better offskills
in the game, venom blade + stab, but it works only solo as most parties die
laughing when they see \'offtank\' with sblades that is not a sabre. (of
course, venom blade + vampiric blow for example is better, even in it/s
incredibly /tuned/ current form..)

Seriously, is there some good reason why sblades got nerfed even more than they
were in the first place? The recent tunes have also fucked newbie weapons like
the Kraftigar, the Paingiver and so forth, and I am not sure if that is truly
the original intent.

Oh, now I get it. It is attempt to get people to kill GK and GMT more and
Burgle less, as claymores suck and 2h swords do not. Everyone knows Burgle
could use the rest, considering he\'s being raped all over the place!
