The points are sold from player to player already even if not everyday.
Currency is usually gold and with gold you get equ.
The limitations in TP exchange is quite pointless and you coulde almost say
unfair.
If someone feels that he would gets less out of his TP, that he has got trough
bug reports (rare) or trough donates (if rich), that he would get from
gold/equ/quests, then he should be allowed to do so withotu geting slapped in
to his fingers.
Also TP exchanging is something that mid/highbies do while new/lowbies would
need it more, but only the mid/highbies can afford it (TPs going for 100k-½M +
TP shop cost).
A auction system that would remeber what players are willing to pay for a TP
(shop keeper taking fat 1-10%) and a dynamic exchange ration (lot of trafic,
lot of loss) would be better.
So i could simply write \"reserve TP for 300000\" and when someone is willing
to sell for that price, a brownie runs to me with a letter saying that i can
reclaim my tp.
In the way the mud is now made, there is four power factors that represent how
l33t your character is.
Those are experience, equipment, TPs and reputation.
TPs are the only part that you cant get trough game play, but still they are
more powerfull than any of the other four. Partially because of that but also
because they are so versitale and universal.
TPs are fun to those that got em and cruse to them that are missing em.
