Would it be possible to make a tp donate possible when:

- the target has no tp\'s (at all, not even in boons)
- the donating person has not donated a tp in n+1 hours
- the target has not received a tp from donate in n+1 hours
- only one tp can be donated

And yes I know that tp\'s can be bought from the shop, but
that costs pretty much for the donater and the donatee.
This would be kind of a \'help a newbie out\'-thingy.

Just an exellent idea. How do u think people with no taskpoints feel when he
loses all of his his/her eq due some misfortune. Wiz answer : shit happens,
help reimburse. Thats just not too (newbie) friendly. This idea wouldnt hurt
anyone wouldnt it? I mean u really cant do much with 1 TP, exept getting your
precious items back, prizey or not. :)

The taskpoint shop is already there to allow the sale
and purchase of taskpoint between players. It's not cheap,
nor is it intended to be. If we allow for free 1:1 transfer
of taskpoints (even with some delay), we will have situations
where those taskpoints get traded between players for money
or items.

As for the 'help reimburse' - it is alot more newbie friendly
than it used to be. And we've done such crash/bugrestores
many times.

The points are sold from player to player already even if not everyday.
Currency is usually gold and with gold you get equ.

The limitations in TP exchange is quite pointless and you coulde almost say
unfair.
If someone feels that he would gets less out of his TP, that he has got trough
bug reports (rare) or trough donates (if rich), that he would get from
gold/equ/quests, then he should be allowed to do so withotu geting slapped in
to his fingers.
Also TP exchanging is something that mid/highbies do while new/lowbies would
need it more, but only the mid/highbies can afford it (TPs going for 100k-½M +
TP shop cost).

A auction system that would remeber what players are willing to pay for a TP
(shop keeper taking fat 1-10%) and a dynamic exchange ration (lot of trafic,
lot of loss) would be better.

So i could simply write \"reserve TP for 300000\" and when someone is willing
to sell for that price, a brownie runs to me with a letter saying that i can
reclaim my tp.

In the way the mud is now made, there is four power factors that represent how
l33t your character is.
Those are experience, equipment, TPs and reputation.
TPs are the only part that you cant get trough game play, but still they are
more powerfull than any of the other four. Partially because of that but also
because they are so versitale and universal.

TPs are fun to those that got em and cruse to them that are missing em.

A :-D hits you.

There are plenty of eqs/items that you can't get from playing the game, they
are ungettable, or cost much more than 2 full boons bought using the tp shop
is. And some players have gotten 2-3 full boons without ever donating, so it
is possible, but not very possible. EQ is probably more important than boons
for a variety of reasons (depending on guild), after all you can't tank tiamat
with 12m exp with every boon in game but it can be done with eq, and since you
can't double up on boons (take int boon 2x (which you should be able!)) the
benefits are greatly staggered with each less useful boon you take. Freld did
fine w/o boons! (Beware: This reply has nothing to do with the overall point
just the over importance you place on boons)

Make it so that you cant give that tp to a player but it could be possible
that other player can pay the 1 tp to gnomes for you, just a thought.

Or allow the gnomes to restore your eq for a cost in gold, a tp isn't worth
500k to many people but 500k to have your 10meg set restored it worth it, or
some other price
