This should not happen. I have double- and triple-checked the code and this
should not happen under normal circumstances. The message you are looking for
is "You see right through XXX's pitiful ambush attempts." A lvl 54 giant vs a
tiy sparrow should not be ambushed.

Having checked the base code, I find that the most likely culprit is a special
effect from a skill, spell, or eq (such as Praixor boots) which interfere with
ambush. Naturally, if those are causing issues, they have to be fixed. Please
give me if I am online and the following happens:
-- you are ambushed by a monster that turns out to be under 500 exp, AND
-- you are level 60 or higher, AND
-- I need to see either the monster while still alive or its corpse.

Sorry, but logs simply won't help this time. I need the evidence when it
happens.
