Make rebirth exp usable for abilities and give us rebirth only abilities.

For some time wizards have justified the NOT by saying its only small portion
of the players. Well yesterday evening there were sixtythree(63) elders or
higher playing. This no small portion. It could be thought as coding for
newbies, a portion of the players and coding for rebirthers, an another
portion of the players.

There are many players with more than 675m of exp who think rebirthing is not
worth it because they cant use their "excess" exp for anything if they
rebirth. Giving that exp some use could push them over the edge to rebirthing.
ACK --> Rebirthing GOOD!

Recent exp pool tune already fucks them. Let them and other rebirthers have
this. Not all of the mortal abilities would be available though, in my mind
it'd be boring if all rebirthers would have blessed existences and shouts and
pimped out looks. No to that. Ordinary abilities would be only partly
available for training with rebirth exp.

Of course all rebirthers could train rebirth only abilities with their normal
exp, rebirth exp would not be a requirement.

Mortal abilities available with rebirth exp:
war and peace notebook, bombastic desc, big little black book, forgotten
language, enhanced commands, sixth sense, magical observation, memory of an
elephant, kerbholz master, gates emote, tactical observation

Then rebirth abilities. :)

Elders:
Flying ability: 60m - Would allow player to fly but would not NEGATE a water
allergy if player has one. (like demon race)
Enhanced divine nourishment: 12,5m - Could be taken after normal divine
nourishment, would prevent getting hungry when riding mounts.

Ancients:
Selectable solokill: 20m - Would allow player to select his solokill from his
holz, other players could see a @ before the kill to signify its been selected
and not gained naturally.
Selectable partykill: 30m - You would need selectable solokill to get this
one, you could select partykill, otherwise it would be the same.

Eternals:
Enhanced peer: 100m - Would give epeer like the amulet gives.
Switch armour: 200m - You could switch armour during battle, this would be
instant but consume much EPs.

Yup, make powerful players more powerful.
Funny part of the post "There are many players with more than 675m of exp"
part 2: "yesterday evening there were sixtythree(63) elders or higher
playing."
there is just too much exp on this game.

This place is reserved for something more intelligent.

Yes, there is too much exp on this game, remove pool. I agree with you all my
heart. Exp is too easy. Or maybe...

You want it to be _newbie friendly_ lower the pool limit to 50m, with that you
can get one working guild. After that exp indeed is too easy.

I love you all!

Zenor!

I was under the impression that the original intention of adding the exp pool
was
to provide some benefit for players that did not play for extended periods of
time
every day. Since the pool does provide some benefit even for those players
that
do play a lot, I\'d guess that the intention of the exp limit is to restrict
the pool to
those players who are already fairly high level and perhaps shouldn\'t receive
any
kind of extra benefit at all. Especially as players who have more recently
reached
300m will probably have received a fair amount of benefit from the pool.

This at least seems to fit with not providing the pool to rebirthers who, at
the
moment, have certain advantages and will obviously retain any highbie eq they
have.

Uh, guys..I like the exp pool. Not everybody on this game can play with 100%
attention to the game for eight hours per day. Heck, even when I do get days
like that, I\'m only able to gain about 750,000 exp. I\'ve heard from talking
around that some people can run rates almost that good per hour.

The exp pool is the only hope I have for ever getting reasonably advanced in
this game. Trust me, from the point of view of somebody like me, 300M exp is
incredibly powerful and also a long way off. If I kept up that 750K rate and
got to play eight straight hours a day and never died, it would take me over a
YEAR to reach 300M. I think that\'s a fair enough investment of my time and
life.

There\'s a pretty massive gap between 300M and that 675M figure. Somebody with
that 675M is, from what I can tell from my lowly position, going to be able to
wipe the floor with that 300M person because they\'ll just completely outclass
them with skill and game knowledge, EQ, and friends.

Please don\'t penalize players who are on the low end of the spectrum in terms
of equipment, boons, secret societies, game knowledge, eq-raiding parties, and
kill-anything groups of friends.

Thanks.

Yes but this game is starting to really lack diversity in levels because
everyone is level 80-100 after 30d playtime. The expool is a nice and pleasant
reward but maybe since it's been so sucessful in stimulating the exp-economy
that we need to "raise interest rates" and cool the economy by putting that
exp pool to 150k/day or 150m. And of course include reinc exp in the 300m
calculation at the very least. If you make 300m and squander it you shouldn't
be able to continue to work to 300m w/ bonus.

Sure, but I am now over 1 year of online playing, and I am pretty far
from level 80, due to personal problems, which I shall not get into,
I am only worth about 62M exp, got 130M+ in taxes, since the last reset,
7-8-9 years ago. It is not everyone who got high level players who will
boost you. So plz leave the pool in.

Yours
Pharm
