I'm in a lucky situation in many ways considering this tune, I have a ship,
and i have word of recall.

I just didn't remember having a word of recall the other day when my ship was
sunk (again). I was on another continent having a big rush away from the game
because of RL issues. On the top that I was pretty mad for many reasons
because my session was not all that succesful. This made me realize that how
hard it is to get home when you desperately need to chest your eq's fast and
leave the game. It will happen to someone else, I'm sure. (it didn't take
very long to remember that wor ,)

This made me think that teleporting scrolls or such should be available in
some shop or carried more with monster. If it's an issue for player killing
(In any situations) that people have these, this might be a special "spell" or
a scroll which cannot be used until 30 seconds after fighting. Maybe you can
acquire just one per boot for example and they couldn't be chested if it's too
suffeli to carry in higher amounts. This could atleast be a good way to end
your session with honor! Never leave home without it thing for nomads and
such.
