(this is a long post, please read this and all following before response.
Respond to the last post in this article to keep threads clean.)

Highbies can use their tons of money on a reinc, every single month, and not
lose any exp. They can also spend their vast mound of exp, using their cash
for ship upgrades instead.

Midbies will use this freedom to determine if they want to try their hand at
eq making, without making the famous reinc where 'no one wants me in their
party and I'm waiting to reinc out'

Newbies who often cannot make any cash will accept the exp costs to reinc,
over paying the cash. They can save for the eq they will need in the next
reinc.

NOTEABLE ASPECTS OF THIS NEW SYSTEM

The old system is revised to be half as harsh, no matter which method you
take.

This system is CLEAN, easier for new players to understand, yet complex.
This system does not restrict a player's reincing at any given time, by both
negative aspects at once.

This system regulates money and exp, although it is not proven that those
variables NEED to be regulated, it does it by players action: The player gets
a choice.

FINAL RESULTS

This system is better design altogether, cleaner and easier for all players to
understand at first glance.

This system rewards players who can make cash well

This system does not restrict creativity by threatening character
exp/resources

This system alleviates certain scenarios which have caused some people to
'flip out and lose it' due to reinc stress.

This system is lighter on the player, and this system can be most importantly:
FUN to use.

If nothing else this is well thought out, and I admit I like it, at first
glance at least. But one question that I either missed or wasn\'t in your
breakdown, what about people who, well, occasionally reinc in less than one
month? Is there a forced one month wait (which would probably help me anyway)
or some sort of penalty for lacking a reinc point?

Or do reinc points stack, so say i wait 3 months (hah!). Then I can
spastically reinc 3 times in a row using each point?

As explained in the article
"A player's reinc points will never exceed 1."
And your first point is also explained.. read the article more :)

Since I rarely reinc the current system doesn\'t really bother me to much.

Maybe we could just simplify it some by :

Offering everyone a free reinc once or twice a year? Or maybe base it of
unidle playing time?

I just hate the thought of losing exp to taxes myself. Gold well cash is
intended to be spent .

Taylon

Change is nice sometimes....
