I know in Shinarae's last post, he said that no way all backgrounds/guilds
were getting riding skill, but how about a small (3-5) level guild giving
some basic riding skills, and possibly low levels of tame mount.

Also, I've been reading descs of squires and beastmaster/cavalier guilds.
It seems to me that maybe alternate requirement for beastmaster could be
max level in barbarian guild, and for cavalier max level in crimson
guild. That would let higher level players, or ranger/barb ranger/crimso
get some riding and other mount skills without having to worry about
spending 15 levels in squire guild, which just gives basic skills anyway,
which you would get from max crimson or barbarian anyway.

what you mean, i think, is some sort of universal way for people to travel,
maybe it could be nothing to do with cavalier/beastmaster or who ever gets
that riding stuff, just a way for people to travel great distances with lower
ep costs, maybe completely new skill, like riding but in outworld only and not
in combat.

This place is reserved for something more intelligent.

What I was invisioning for that 1st idea, small riding guild, was something
akin to navis, where its a small utility guild, but in this case, joinable
by everyone. Maybe max level in 1 "primary" guild, but facilitates
getting around using mounts. Low levels of this would just let you ride
an easy mount, higher levels, maybe handle more difficult mounts, and
allow you to take care of mount better etc. Beastmaster/cavalier idea
was in addition to the small riding guild idea.

but nothing compared to cavalier/beastmaster, just for walking the great
distances in outworld? not like any combat stuff or that. Yes? no?

Just came to my head, are we able to make mages riding dragons and casting
lightnings & meteor shower? would be cool and would suit good in fantasmic
worlds?
no, i dont know if fantasmic is anyword at all.

Oh dear lord no. Just riding and caring for skills is all I was thinking.
Heh, having mages wielding lances charging down dragons and throwing
lightning bolts and fireballs all at the same time is *not* what I was
thinking. Transportation only.
