BatMUD has lot of things to do and explore, and exploring
is really worth it. Thank you for that. But I'm really
kinda wondering why the quest-system hasn't been renovated
since the world seems to be evolving.
Now, the current level quests are really 80% party-missions,
no way of soloing them. Usually it's annoyingly so that you
can do 60% of it by yourself, after which you run into a mob
that requires a party. I think there is something we could do
to fix this, to encourage more exploring, questing and such:
-> Do personalized dynamic quests.

For instance,
- you'd have to find 10 different friendly races and
interact with them.
- collect some <insert random items here, obtainable from
around BatMUD> and do something with them.
- find a certain mob/room (like in nun restores)
- if you have explore below n%, you'd have to find n+1
new rooms in a certain amount of time.
- deliver a message to another location in a required
amount of time
- ... and so forth.

The quests themselves needn't be too hard, just to give
a tad bit more meaning of running around, and utilize the
new continents to their full extent. The rewards could be
minor or major. From small money rewards to exprate-boosts
and such.

Codewise, this shouldn't require the modification of every
area. Just a shadow to your player that watches what happens
so that certain prequisites are met.

That would be just so much fun instead of just boring daily
grind with no other goals than to get the next % of some skill.
