Mosquitos in swamp (those emotes that take dmg from you, not real mobs) should
turn off if you are invis. For obvious reasons

As far as i know, invis does not cover your odors.

Call me simple, but what is the obvious reason. I do not see the connection...

You wear wearing a full set of armour, and are invis, a mosquito can't see
you, how can he find the few parts of exposed flesh to bite so regularly?
Since most of my body is covered in steel, I know a mosquito can't simply suck
blood through it, and if he can't see where my flesh is minutely exposed, he
should be banging into my armor and dying and not doing -20hps every 3
seconds. Invis should prevent or at least hinder mosquitos biting.

Someone brought up the point of "warmth" (which I anticipated). So mosquitos
can sense warmth? And that's present when invis? Think again, help spell
infravision, the term "infra" from "infrared" is essentially heat sensitive
vision, seeing radiation in the invisible spectrum of heat. When you cast
infravision on yourself you cannot see invis, therefore, they don't emit heat,
or else you could clearly see them, since you can see trees, which emit very
low heat, and mosquitos don't bit trees, so we can at least assume if infra
allows you to see even the dif between air and trees in the night, that if any
heat is emitted during invis, it's far less than air or trees, and thus would
not provoke a mosquito. There's also no evidence to suggest that invis isn't a
way in which space is thinnly twisted around you making you "not there" or
"out of phase" but in phase enough to be whacked, but blocks all other
radiation signatures.

Mosquitos locate their victims through scent primaly and they can sense carbon
dioxide so I dont think that makes sense unless you\'re ud :).

Well who says invis doesn't cover smells first of all, and if it doesn't,
consider this. I'm covered in armor, I'm a tiger, so my armor is SOAKED in
blood, especially my gloves. So a mosquito comes and i'm covered in steel
which is covered in gloves and very bloody hands, I don't think his sense of
smell is going to guide him to the 1-2 inches of exposed flesh I may have in
my armor. Let him lick the blood of my enemis from my gloves and armour, but
he shall not find me in invis enough to eat me regularly.

Mosquitos "sniff" out their meals.. so armour would have no effect, except
maybe to cause sweat and thus a stronger scent attracting even more mosquitos,
dead blood (from your victims) also will not do anything for you (you will
never see a mosquito sipping at a pool of blood, no matter how fresh) and
neither would invis which is purely to deceive vision

Since we're nitpicking here, I'm made of bone, do not breathe nor do I have
blood circulation it's amazing what supermosquitos these are that yet drink
blood from me. And, there's no scientific evidence that mosquito bites cause
your hitpoints to go down, why do they? Again I assume these are
supermosquitos.
To summarize, why are you trying to reason things in this game with 'reality'
associations. There're number of things which defy logic already in place...

news search for article "orange cone" and read about how Arches do apply irl
logic here with a fantasy twist, so. That's why.

Horse dead, stop flogging.

I think the intent is to make sitting around in a swamp hazardous to your
health. Just change the mosquito to another \"generic nasty environmental
hazard\" and move along.
