Would it be a bad idea to change floating disc so that
the amount of stuff that's in it affects how fast it goes
down. The idea would be that when it is totally full, it
would go down the same rate it's going now. But when its
empty, it would last much much longer.

This would give a slight upgrade to those floating disc
items, and it would not really hurt any balance.

Would it be possible to have spells like this floating disc, light, darkness,
etc to have automatic upkeep penalties to spregen. That way you dont have to
recast every 10 minutes it is just taken from your normal ticks.

example i cast floating disc it takes X sp to cast then every tick it takes 1
or 2 sp. And doesnt drop until i cast it again or quit out.

I would love to see Sp leaching floating disc that would eat SPs according to
how much stuff there is.
1 sp per 10kg of stuff per 30 secs would sound quite good.
The disc could also take like 10x casters Int kg\'s or as easy as int+wis
kg\'s.

I could imagine that a spellslinger could make bigger or smaller floating
disc\'s that would recuire more/less magical energy from the caster to upkeep
that just one fixed M sized floating disc.

And instead of need of big skills to summoning floating disc out of nothing, we
could focus our magical powers and \'levitate\' these emerald disc\'s thus
having fixed sized floating disc\'s. More skilled casters could create and
sustain these dynamic out-of-nothing floating discs, but newbies could keep
stuff moving with magically animated emerald disc\'s

A :-D hits you.

Perhaps adding Floating Disc Masteries could incorporate these new ideas.
