Please make ALL spells with duration such that they break only when leaving
party / caster uses some special syntax to stop focusing on that spell. It
should be easy enough to calculate the upkeep for each spell a caster
maintains, and just reduce that much spr from the person.

Pros: Less mindnumbing repetition of commands, less hair loss from tanks
without triggers, game more fun for protters in general
Cons: Game is \'easier\'

Yes, I know this has some effect on the game mechanics (mainly, it is a slight
uptune on prothell monsters), but it also makes the game considerably more fun
from my point of view, which would be a big deal for me.. ;-)

Also, if the upkeep calculation was done with current stats and not the
cast-time stats, the ridiculous \'wis swaps\' for conjus would be history (or
at least, some sort of sensible hybrid set would be optimal if you would want
to minimize conj spell upkeep versus blast damage you dish out).

Obviously, disciple-triggering things (stun, mindseize) could have also chance
to break concentration, and caster dying would also break it.. As long as
frontrow caster protting would not be completely fucked, I think the solution
would still be balanced (and would effectively uptune backrow casters that
prot, and downtune frontrow casters that prot somewhat).

HAHAHAHA, Jesus Christ! You know this sounds exactly like what it has been with
crimsons with the exception that you had not even have to skill once ;)

Yeah, great idea, put everything so that you cast it only once and then it just
eats sp/ep whatnot so that you only sit by idly and watch the text scroll. What
a great fun that is.

NO! Seriously, i must doubt the sanity of all you people who have supported
this idea. I bet atleast half of you are the same people who have whined about
idlecrimsons. THINK people. Think for a second before you suggest something,
hell, it is not this way even in mmorpgs. Even in those buffs are needed to be
recasted with varying intervals.

So what do you suggest our hyper active wisky drinking crimsons should do?
Chain CDA? Oh well _thats_ fun.
The whole guild idea is funny tough. To know about defence, you have to know
about offence.

Wana know whats my favorit spell among all MMORPG\'s. I tell you anyway, its
mana shield. Not some retarded WoW mana shield, i\'m talking about the one and
only from Diablo. You cast it on and wepee, all damage you take goes from mana
instead of hit points UNTIL you run out of mana and it drops and usually it
also means rips very soon.

Such spells that can\'t be worn out and have fixed duration, could IMO be made
sp draining instead. Dead people can not keep the waves of spells under
control, of course.
