Well, I have made a few monsters that have restricted-use equipment. From my
logs I've never seen a newbie party take those down, and since I don't see
them on sales either, I think those are just tossed.
Might be that we'd need even more newbie-eq mobs, though.

Well, consider adding some NPC:s around arelium or to some other well known
places that might tell some stories about those items.
Those NPC:s might be something newbies could visit to get clues on where to
get items for their level etc.

Bring back Shadowkeep Sewers. This was one of the greatest newbie eq systems I
can remember in batmud. There were items that were unique to level 30 and
below I recall that were quite cool and unusable to highbies.
