Currently there is a problem that I see with the way our shopkeeper system
works: Several places give notoriously better prices than others, pcity prices
are notoriously worse than anywhere else. The problem as I see it is that
pcities are supposed to be centers of player commerce, and even many city
owners won't sell loot in their own city as a result of the horrible price
comparison.
Idea: Now that we have these continents, enable us to set our "nationality" or
"place of origin" or something. For example, if my birthplace is Lucentium
perhaps I'd be able to buy things from shops cheaper there, and maybe I'd get
a bonus for selling things on certain other continents (ie exporting, makes
you more money if you sell at distant markets.) You might also arrange it so
that while bonuses are to be had in Rothikgen, the Desolathians are going to
charge you a higher price. Or something.
To prevent some abuse, just make it so that we cannot change our nationality
very often, every six months or something.
