Ok, so it's been stated that to stop people from just
running past all aggros we need ambush to have this
current form. But I think it's time to re-evaluate some
aspects of it.
Alertness. This skill seems next to useless. At 100% it
doesn't seem to affect 1/10th of what for instance riding
a mount does. All subjective, of course. Also, its only
affecting stat is INT, a stat that no guild that it's
gotten high at excels at. Perhaps add some dexterity or
such as an affecting stat? As it is, ambush could do
with an overhaul, perhaps an exponential effect for
the higher percentages, because at the moment the skill
seems somewhat underpowered.
Small mobs. Expwise. There isn't really any "rational" or
"realistic" requirement for this, but I'd still really, really
prefer small-ish mobs from ambushing high-level players. Make
the level difference affect more - it's extremely demeaning
to be blocked by 3k driders (Hi Merioli!) as a level 90+ player.
Even if said monsters would be large in "size" of the mud-reality.
Really, as long as I'm dreaming, with lvl 100 and 100%
alertness, decent dex and riding a frigging drake, I
don't want to be ambushed by anything but the smartest
or nastiest mobs. Or really sneaky ones.
