Hello!

I have an idea of improve parry. Now you only use it at 0 or 51. What about if
you could parry 0-10. Parry 0 would be same as now, parry 5 same as parry 51
now. Parry 10 would prevent you from hitting at all, using skills or casting
spells. Parry 6-9 would make you parry better, but also give you penalties
like burdening spells and skills. Also changing your parry value shouldn't be
instant (no more abusing of some skills and stuns).

Oh yes, you -1 voters... this wouldn't change anything... Just keep parry 5 or
0. And give some feedback too, how to abuse this kind of new parry etc...
Maybe they could be fixed at the same time too :-D.

;-). Hmmm also got feedback why settings should be 0-10... Thats true, maybe
parry off/medium/full would do the same thing. And changing parry value could
be like marts <num> now... so it could be changed in combat too, but not
instantly.

How is this an upgrade to "useless nomad def tanks?"
They get to use parry 10 and...
have an excuse to not use any skills whatsoever?

And if this is intended to upgrade nomad def tanks, what needs
upgrading is hardly their ability to play the defensive role.

Archers seem to be a good thing already, altering their offensive capabilities
in comparision to other tanks.

Ok, I swear this is my last post about parry...

parry 0 -> no parries, for off parties
parry 1 -> for weird people who wants to hit some and parry some
parry 2 -> just like present parry 51
parry 3 -> parry and defend better, get burden on skills and spells (or
similar penalty)
parry 4 -> no hits, no casting or using skills, full defend mode... might be
nice in some cases

10 second delay when changing parry mode for abusers.

Thank you for feedback, especially those who didnt reply! This case is up to
wizzes now...

At least this idea is a bad one. Changing parry during battle as the situation
changes is a quite normal tactic in batmud. It's also realistic and makes the
otherwise rather boring battle a bit more interesting.
