No.
Oh you wanted a reason? Other than the vote count which suggests nobody else
wants it, either? Okay. Suppose there's a difficult but rewarding quest to do.
Player A, a power gamer interested in levelling up and helping his eq ss+
getting some kickass gear, happens to have this quest. Now, suddenly he finds
himself flooded by everyone -- strangers, mostly -- begging for info and/or a
quest drag to get this quest. Clearly, these people do not know Player A, or
they would have gotten his quest information before. They're not spammers,
they just want the quest/quest info, and they know he has it. Player A will
find himself saying "no, sorry" over and over, making him look and/or feel
like a total jerk for not helping, when all he wants to do is keep playing
uninterrupted.
If Player A wants to sell/trade quest info, I'm sure he's capable of doing so
on the sales and/or wanted channels. But I've seen, for example, merchants
(who _can_ be spotted across a crowded mud by strangers) put in their
title/tell status "no services" because strangers approach a merchant for
services. We shouldn't have to force everyone else to put "no quest info" in
their tell status in addition.
