For anyone to apprentice a true newbie is interesting. I have tried twice int
he last year. Neither newbie made it far. They quit playing. I tried
everything I couldto make them stick around or with thechossen guild. Not
something that can be don easily it seems. Is there a way to improve the
experinece for the apprentice themselves. I know they get a small bonus when
master is around but could that be upped to a siggificant breduction in cost.
And let the newbie get the current bonus when the master is not present at
training. they still get a discount, and maybe make them feel they are
achieving something along the way.
We all want power quickly. it would seem speeding up the newbie process
through apprenticeship might help the truly new players stick around more?

Maybe a system that doesn't involve the 'master' being in the apprentice's
guild? Bear with me. Say you are allowed to pick one guild that you have had x
amt of playtime in to choose to be a 'teacher' in. After you've helped train
an apprentice y amt, you can pick a second guild that you've had x*z amt of
playtime hours in to be able to train people. This would allow active
trainers to benefit more. It would also help to eliminate being a 'master' in
a guild you just reinced into for the first time and know nothing about. Not
being in the guild your apprentice is in would mean allowing you to assist
from the outerworld entrance instead of the training room.
