Since everyone is now idling with their unamed eq on (with no fear of boot etc
with those tunes) may I suggest some tweaks.

The timing should be combat time not general wear time. (I know people will
then idle at easy aggro mobs with parry 51, though this I thought was illegal
in some instances).

Also unnamed eq (but with/without the time thing) should still take extra non
perm damage.

Also to make named eq still a plus point.. Make all prots and fws better on
it. I dunno double? the fw time? or improve the named bonus.

My thoughts...

As far as the combat timer vs. general timer, people will get out it
regardless of what you do, so why bother?! Already, I have a solution to your
combat timer. I'll just sit in backrow with my unnamed gear while my buddy
runs solo cash/exp. Problem solved. So, let's stop putting negatives on
uptunes, plz! Instead let's focus on making a reason for people to DO NAMED
EQ.

The only part of your post I agree with, as you might have noticed, is the
fact that named eq needs have something more desirable added to it. EQ bonus,
mcdemon prot(rarely ran), [was there some other bonus?], these just don't seem
worth the hassle of making named eq when you can buy it and get attuned.

Of course they will get the prefered wear/wield name on the item eventually,
thats the point. Its just the road to getting there, sure idle in the backrow,
at least your buddy is putting in the effort to get your eq named..

Also the nice spin on it was your eq is getting perm damage while you try and
get your wear/wield time up :)

I thought about it afterwards and double fw time is crap idea. But maybe fw's
could drop on damage like prots on unamed gear:)
