It would be nice if you saw that you are being attacked. As it stands now i
leave from lucent and have no clue i have (fighting) tag until i wonder why
the trip is taking so long an check. Maybe change the instance the fighting
tag is applied to a vessel to the time of aggressive action. Seems silly i
have to take so long to get somewhere because some stupid pirate missed me
with a cannonball that i never had a clue about.

Making the fighting tag apply only when you become aggressive would make
pirating next to impossible as you could flee twice as fast as they can. I do
understand it from the npc:s perspective, but player pirates would be shafted
quite badly.

I do understand a lot of people don't want any pirates at all, but that's the
way they were designed to work, the pirates are not going anywhere.

Its a shame there's no way to distinguish between an npc pirate shooting at
you and a player pirate shooting at you.. :/

I noticed that after you sink the pirate you are still fighting.. surely after
u sunk it, captured and plundered you really aint fighting anymore?

Hmm though maybe it doesnt last that long, but should drop straight away..
