I have heard that the good vs. evil playing field is not exactly equally
balanced.

Could there be something implemented that would give the less populated
alignment a boost (The god of neutrality is attempting to rebalance the world).
This could be bonuses to: skill/spell max, stats, luck, or just about anything
else you could think of.

In my version of this the bonus would only take effect when there is a decent
variation greater than 15 active players of good vs. evil alignments. If for
some reason it is balanced within 0-15 active players I think the neutral
alignments should get the bonus.

This could possibly be used to determine where tuning needs to be implemented.
Buy monitoring alignment migrations.

But what the hell do I know :>

Who guild good_religious: 38 players shown.
Who guild evil_religious: 41 players shown.

Doesn't seem like a big imbalance there.

The truth is what is really unbalanced is the tank guilds in the two bg's.
But that wont be fixed until theres some dedicated and non-idle coders who can
properly recode templars/monks.

Shinarae did some major monk changes a few years ago, big boost in power for
monks, especially since there's still unknown stuff and things we're
experimenting with. I'm hoping monks are getting some more tunes thanks to
Dralith's work with martial arts.

Someone is actively recoding Templars currently, Someone else is making an
all-new good relig guild and I am working on balancing all of the backgrounds.
