As a templar/liberator/tarm i'm running into a ton of stupid alignment issues.
if i kill a perins mole, it will give the templar prayer that it was evil, but
my empyrean won't get a soul because it wasn't big evil enough.
i can cast sof on a good aligned mage whose alignment is almost netural.. but
i can't protection by sacrifice him. because " a templar will not protect
somebody evil"
i can use ghost slash at mobs that are "evil' and the ghosts dont mind and
dont leave me, but if i try and use stance of the righteous, it tells me their
innocent.
i understand that a lot of alignment checks are coded by different people, and
that there's a wide "grey" area of good/evil that tends to show up as neutral,
but it's a real pain in the arse to figure out which skills/spells you can use
on which mob depending on HOW evil it is. can all the skills be tuned to
work on < 0 alignment instead of the varying shades of grey of -20 alignment,
-200 alignment, < 0... some sort of standard would be great.
Yes, i'm well aware that this could result in good_rel tanks getting a sudden
downgrade as our skills suddenly stop working on anything less than -200
alignment, but i think its more likely that nothing will happen =S
