I would be nice if there was a bonus for larger parties, since everyone talks
about community/social interaction. Sure there are a lot of the power players
than can solo 20k+ rates. So, why would they bother to group with someone who
shares their rate and probably slows them down? On the flip side, it would
allow new players to get a bonus also, by partying up.
2 members 1.5% exp bonus
3 members 3% exp bonus
4 members 3.5% + hpr
5 members 4% + hpr + spr
6 members 4.5% + hpr + spr + some type of pack bonus
7,8,9 members, I am unsure they should get anything, seeing how 9man exp
parties are super rare. And this would affect eq parties also. As the
bonuses stand at the moment, and it's just a rough idea, I don't see exp bonus
or minor hpr/spr affecting eq parties in a terribly unbalanced way. the 'pack
bonus' or whatever is 50/50. Hell, you guys are good coders, just make it
were if party has more than 6 members, no bonuses. Just some ideas to help
promote partying and make it worthwhile for good exp leaders to take other
members that they wouldn't normally.
Nice idea for party bonuses, but u must recall that most equipment is made in
parties. As much I think spr hpr bonuses could be useful. Id say no to all of
those type bonuses. Mainly +exprate could be understood, as it helps 0 during
eq.
