Could broker be enhanced so names of items on broker can be obtained more
easily by the broker system itself. I understand you dont want to add names of
items added to broker automatically as then it becomes an easy way to work out
names. So my idea is to store the names but hide them. Then allow people to
pay the broker system to view those names. e.g. broker spid 12 names. would
say cost me 10k or something.

Just an idea.

Maybe better to change broker access to: only one(few) special rooms will give
you possibility to use broker?
you just go there. point at item and it will be added to broker
with Auto-ID. for some fee
then item will be added to broker with all info (cond/maxcond/names/stats....
all of them)
As alternative you can ask "broker tool" from Damogran or someone else. and
add items from own room

you possibility to use broker?
you just go there. point at item and it will be added to broker
with Auto-ID. for some fee
then item will be added to broker with all info (cond/maxcond/names/stats....
all of them)
As alternative you can ask "broker tool" from Damogran or someone else. and

err. What? It already does that, from anywhere. You just have to supply the
item in the command. "broker add" adds a new item, which you have to describe
yourself. "broker add <item>" adds the item from your inventory and lets you
ID it etc.
Restricting it to ony one/few rooms would mean noone would use the command
anymore.

Sure.. the same way as no one would advance anymore if advance level would get
removed.

You're actually requesting that adding items to broker should be available in
only one room? With the motivation that people still advance levels even if
they have to visit the adventurers guild? Which they even don't need to do
anymore, by the way?
Are you out of your mind?
NO. NOT going to happen. Broker will be available to anyone from anywhere.
Noone wants to drag their stuff to arelium to get them brokered then back to
their chests.
I don't see what positive reactions it could possibly bring.
