a - wanted: Merchants to be able to peer to any directions while sailing (for
searching materials)
b - wanted: Class-4 ship that is merchant ship. should give possibility to
peer(view) to n,w,s,e or other directions

Maybe. I've been debating creating specialized ships with bonuses such as
this. I'll throw it in the idea pile for later consideration.

So, you're looking for a way to wander the countryside looking for things to
mine, without even spending EPs to do it? :).

I guess the tradeoff, though, is that a ship moves very slowly (at best, you'd
get 1 room per 3 seconds, I think it was).

get 1 room per 3 seconds, I think it was).
There's always the outerworld clair staff + speed setting. You can set your
ship to be slow over land and cruise over the land using the clair staff to
look for deposits...
