Shouldnt weapon speed be determined by the size of the individual in
correlation to the weapon size? I mean shouldn't a titan be so big that a 2
hand sword in comparison is like a bastard sword in his huge hand? This seems
like infalible logic. Of course a 2 hand sword in a avg size race is big and
slow but in a much larger race it should not be treated as big and slow. Fix
this and then all those big badass weapons can be used and people can stop
whining about barsos because if they still sucked its all on them.

p
blah I can't use this thing but the whole point was a large weapon should be
faster in a huge race hands which in turn would give them the damage they
should be making.
Kragan, I agree that it is confusing. There are two logics running here... if
I am bigger and therefore can hold a weapon more easily then a smaller race,
then theoretically I should have the STRENGTH to swing it faster, increasing
my weapon speed. Personally, I believe weapon speed, wield penalty (+/-
hit%), and damage should be a function of only str and dex. (Str for damage,
STR for weapon speed and DEX for hit% modification). I also would like to see
throw weight adjusted to have STR take a bigger role in the calculation (not
sure how it works).
I guess, more simply... a small race that is hugely strong (dwarf maybe)
should be able to hold, use and master large weapons if properly specced and
equipped. Large races with low tank stats should be more greatly penalized in
Melee combat.... just my 14 cents... hope everyone is having a great summer!
