I'm not sure how many yrs it's been since the holz_quest was added. I do know
that a handful of players actually completed the quest and enjoy the benefits
of having it done.

Everything else being equal, there's a limited amount of motivation to do some
of the more pain in the ass mobs.. and this quest was actually one of them.
Could the quest be modified so that mobs that are no longer in the game are
removed from the requirements? Some of us would actually bother trying some
of the more interesting mobs again if the quest was possible.

Alternately, change the holz back to the way it worked before, before the
holz_quest was added, since its completely impossible to do now.

Alternately #2, add Burgle back into the game.

Whatever the choice.. could something please be done about this? It's pretty
lame.

Give me a list of the monsters that you believe to no longer be in game and
I'll investigate and see if the quest needs updating.

Did you fail to get the list or the investigations turned out nothing?
Just in case the problem was not getting the list: Burglefloogah is only
monster in the quest that has not been in game for few years now.

I looked into it and spoke with many wizards about the issue. I have been
moderately convinced that something fruitful came of it and will be done soon.

To be a bit more clear...I have conversed with several wizards and Archwizards
about the subject, detailing the issue at hand. We are aware that Burgle is
not in the game on an active basis and that something needs to be done. Some
changes have been suggested to get this "Quest" back into the game and it has
been left in someone's (not mine) hands to make a decision and implement it,
at their discretion.
