Bane serverity was a good idea, I hope it comes back. But if it's not coming
back, rewrite banes to a give and take setup, independent of boons. Like,
masochism sometimes makes you eat more damage, but when it happens you get
back some eps and sps. Seasickness causes problems in water, but you use less
eps when walking on land. Moon madness makes your spells cost more on average,
but for quick chant and quick lips your spells have a higher effective %.
Opposite with slow motion mouth. As it is there's like three banes anyone
takes for a 10% boon and the rest are worthless.

If i understood it correctly, the banes are supposed to have a negative effect
(as they do now) in exchange for the tiny boon you can take with the bane.
With that suggestion of yours, the bane would actually also be a boon in its
own right.
