In order for Balanced Alternative Techniques Ry to ensure
the seamless continuation of BatMUD, the board of B.A.T.
ry has been working on drafting an IPR agreement that
defines the rights to work related to BatMUD.

The future IPR agreement is available within the game as
'help copyright2004'. Current wizards will be receiving
electronic copies of the copyright for their approval in
the future (more information about this later on), and
applicants for wizardhood are expected to familiarize
themselves with the IPR agreement prior to reaching
wizardhood.

We do not foresee that this has any impact on the day-to-
day operation of BatMUD, and we will try to be flexible
and accomondate the desires of those that provide us with
their time and energy.
