So there's been an addition to pcity stables starting at reboot. The idea is,
you can raise your own baby mounts from birth.

How it works:
-- get a matched breeding pair of mounts. For now, the only ones that work are
cougars and chaos drakes. You will probably need new ones to make this work,
but old ones might work too. Once the bugs are fixed, more and more animals
will be added to the list of breeding options.
-- the mounts need to be left alone in the stable for at least a week.
-- start checking back for "eggs" which include immature babies as well. These
can be collected by the owners of either parent.

Baby mounts are normal chestable items that can be assisted twice per day. One
way you can assist them is by "nursing" them with a potion that resists a
damage type. This does not use up any of the potion's doses, so one potion can
in theory last forever. Nursing a baby mount this way will improve its
resistances when it grows up, as well as giving it a permanent EP boost at
maturity. Alternatively, you can instead damage the baby twice per day, which
will improve its resistances more than nursing but does not provide the EP
boost.

"Holy crap! Are you suggesting that we beat puppies? That's horrible!"

Yes. Beating a baby animal is, in fact, an evil act. Also the mount will very
likely try to kill you when it grows up. There are some evil_religous and just
generically evil players out there, and this is an option they can consider.
It might, however quite literally bite them on the ass later, but that's a
decision they can make.

When the mount is ready, it can be "hatched" into an actual mount. This mount
will have resistances based on its parents' resists and improved based on the
treatment it was shown growing up. These special "hatched" babies will then
grow older over time until reaching maximum size. Some (cougars) do this
faster than others (chaos drakes). The mount can also be given a name and
racial adjective, but this requires a beastmaster.

I'll be keeping an eye on things, PLEASE bring any bugs to me so they can be
fixed before additional mounts or features are added.
