game intents and purposes, are kind of like eq. Two players sharing the same
eq is tricky to work with. This is mostly in the case of combat, more
specifically, party positisn. I am not sure, for example, how the tank in 1,1
and the tarmie in 3,2 will ride the same rhino (the poor mage in 2,2 will
probably not enjoy it, no matter how ithappens!). I won't say "never" because
the idea makes RPG sense, but I will say "don't hold your breath".

having some public stables on populated continents. I guess putting them near
the ferry docks (which, at least in theory, are touching water) would solve
both problems at once.

But we could get creative and come up with some workarounds. For example, it
would make absolutely no sense to have 2 guys on one mount in combat. Lets
just kick the back guy off if the mount ever gets into combat. Party places
would get messed up? Well, we could just leave eveyrone in their party place,
and let the mount just mark the player as not taking epcost to move...bigger
mounts could do so for more players. That little gazelle would still only be
able to carry a single hobbit though. (I think mounts already have something
saying the max size of a rider? Well, just make all the sizes need to sum up
to less than the max size for that mount).
