Merchant's job is a dreary one. Mostly idling (with
your eq on), waiting for customers, mining, solving
tedious quests over and over again, and again: idling.
My race is Valar, that "should" have a long lifespan.
Atleast, it should. When I've been here mostly all day, logging
off only for the night, my age would already be 'old' if
there werent for youth scrolls/potions. Which are quite
rare and expensive (to some).
Now, merchants already have the spell Money is power which
converts money to exp. Could we have a self-youthing spell
that would convert exp to youth. You could cast it to other
players but as with MIP it would have a lousy ratio.
The point in this being: it would be useful not only for us
merchants to keep our age in check, but also for when exploring
new places where you get exp, but also die alot - there instead
of going to train/study every two seconds, you could spend
it on negating the effects of death to your age. And so forth.

So basicaly what you are asking for is the power of immortality to dwarf
shopkeepers?
Sounds weird combination to me..

Isn't that what happens if you chew up youth scrolls and potions
on a steady basis in any case? I'm just "expanding" the consept of
keeping reincs longer, encourage exploring and trying mobs that
are otherwise being left alone, and giving merchants more reasons
to stay online and give services.
