I think someone need to take a serious look at eq damage code if this is
possible. Spending hours and hours to make a nice piece of weapon, and
then have it break into zillions of pieces just cause you HIT something?
Sounds reasonable?

Well, I'm just a dumb wizard, but I thought that when equipment breaks, that
breakage is caused actually by the hit that's *after* the message, not the
one before, as shown.

That sounds strange because after that came miss message with my other weapon.

Nope shoulda been break, not broke. Since you merely picked wrong word,
something easy to do, and yet it sounds eexactly like the word it should of
been, I must revoke your statement about your bad english and promote you to

It happens, I have had my offhand weapon take damage quite a few times for
missing with my locblade, though I always thought it was so because locblade
could not take damage and due to usual bat-logic, something has to go, even if
the missing weapon can't. :)
