- DISCLAIMER: THIS POST DOES NOT COMMENT ABOUT SHOULD BOONS BE
REMOVED/UPTUNED/DOWNTUNED/STAY AS THEY ARE! -

Are boons unbalancing people? Yes. As it has been "discussed" in news for some
time now. Should this be? Yes.

I am not going to start this debate over, I am just saying that it is silly
that boons cannot be compensated with exp. Partially this is possible, but not
completely. As certain archwizard posted an article about 400M player with no
boons, I am sure that this player could spend his/her exp in boons, in favour
to gain certain boons as int/wis/meta/lips/etc.

How about considering that boons could be gained with exp. A full boon with,
hmh maybe 50-100M worth of exp. The right amount of spent exp is quite hard to
say, so I am just throwing numbers here. After all, there are high level
players that have "only" 4 full boons, some have more, some have less (I am
not referring to anyone, just giving an example).

And yes, this would still give an advantage to 'real' booned player, but would
offer a un/lowbooned player to gain more boons. And if player has, let's say 7
full boons which should be quite enough for anything, he would still have a
chane to gain more boons if this player desires so.

And please don't reply to this post with arguments like 'get eq' or whatever.
Booned or not, you can get that same eq, get same bonuses and so on.

Just rambling here. If you do not like about this idea, you can go and slit
your wrists and throw your hands in the air and wave 'em around like you
_really_ do not care.
