Gore powerhour was a good idea. The fact that powerhour doesnt start until
the first combat round was an even better idea. The fact that people complain
about it is fucking lame. Why don't you guys take this advice. From now on,
STFU about powerhour. You guys are such whiny no life morons - get a clue.
This is an upograde! upgrade too!

Power hour is good for the real life social well being of all mudders, and I
believe Gore should get pat on back for looking after mudders and giving them
just a little bit more time for focus on real life.

Yeah I totaly agree. Stop whinning about how you dont want to party until you
get a rocking one for phour, or dont want to do eq until you exp first. It
wont be the end of the world if you miss your phour! as a matter a fact, there
will be another one tomorrow.

You (including Kaz and Blackstar) look so fucking stupid right now. But I guess I shouldnt be surprised hearing this coming from someone who used to robot his character to develope it.

With your arguments, as follows; \'Powerhour is great, make lotsa exp in short time \' yada yada.. Yeah sure, why not make every monster worth 100 times it\'s current expvalue? So EVERYONE in this mud can grow big and nifty and have 500m totals. Why not make all eq stats triple or why not 5 times their current value..

Yeah, and what\'s left when you\'ve done that?

This game is indeed a great game where respect should be given to those who has speant countless hours in front of the computer to evolve their character, not the the ones who happend to have 30mins every day to do some light playing instead of their normal jerking off.

my 2 cents.

If you think that somehow this powerhour transform all the
clueless newbies into burgle-soloing monsters you're dead
wrong. Making the exp-gaining gap between lifeless geeks
and normal folks can mean a slight downtune to a geek
(and thusly noticeable shrinkage to his virtual penis),
but for most people it just makes game much more fun.

Clueless newbies don't make it to lvl100, powerhour or
not, but it makes it possible to tune this game so that
you dont have to spend first three years of your gametime
in Diggas.

Of course you knew this already, so I'm wondering what the
hell is your real problem here.

Actually, it doesn't even lessen the so-called gap between these two
categories of players. No-life mudders know more about the game, and since
they are also entitled to the powerhour, they get much more benefit from it
than the occasional player. This REALLY makes you wonder what these clueless
whiners are talking about. Perhaps it's just jealosy, that someone might play
and still have a life, while they don't.

Merioli, you are one hell of an idiot with no life.
The only people who would not get benefit from power hour are those that have absolutely zero interest in real life and would still spend those extra hours here. And it seems that in this little world of yours you feel so big and mighty with all your exp that you need to protect that by denying any benefits to any other players below you. It is like gore said, you are a selfish nolife whiner. Time to stop thinking about only yourself and start thinking about other people. I\'m sure there are many players here with wife and kids and if an extra 2 hours can be spent with wife and kids then that is great.
Batmud is a very addictive game and although most of the responsiblity is on the player to control how much they play i think there is still a small amount of responsibility on the administration to help us not play too much. Just like casino has responsibility to boot someone if they are spending too much. I think Gore showed more than enough responsibility on behalf of bat administration because powerhour should also have help the players that spend too much time here to spend a little less time.
But alas, some people are too stupid and self absorbed to see this.
