Remove the damn `cutter` command if almost nothing abides it, for example:
inventory, battle, `who`, shoplists, news.. I almost understand why nobody who
can touch all that wants to look into it - but couldn't even the newly coded
crap make use of this lovely feature. MRRRGRRRWHINEFLEIM!

disclaimer: impoliteness unintentional. you shall not be offended.

The cutter affects all channel messages, all tells, all says and such. The
cutter doesn't affect long descriptions, battle messages, spell chants and
a myriad of other messages that appear during actual gameplay.

If you have some general communication or player related messages that you
would rather see not wrapped, holler them up somewhere.

If, on the other hand, you'd like to see something like long descriptions or
battle messages not wrap, I'm guessing you are in for a long wait.

The 'cutter' works just fine.

i'm glad to see that players appreciate the time and effort we put into making
the 'newly coded crap' to this game.

That was purely a flame, no need to tear your hair off.. And I believe I
already listed the features I think would be nice (and easy to implement?) -
newsreader, who output, and last but most important, the brief inventory list.
Since I don't know a good place where I should stuff these ideas (arse,
ideas-wanted (someone actually reads that?), ?), I'll just reply it here.

News messages are already wrapped when they are sent - either by the mud in
paragraph mode - or by the original author in overwrite mode. There is no
way to wrap the actual messages differently. If, on the other hand, you just
meant that the news listings with subject lines could be longer, I'd suggest
you talk to Favorit about that.

Who lines are clipped when inserted to a server - and I don't think _anyone_
wishes to meddle with that particular piece of code.

And as for inventory lines... well, that one sounds rather doable. Perhaps,
perhaps.

I would like to see spell chants not wrap at least, I can understand the
others not wrapping if things should be on multiple lines eg descs and spells
hitting (eg burgle crits etc). Am sure there are some noobie wizzes there that
could do some luborious work on stuff for a few levels if some nice arch
started the project up.

I mean this is kinda gay:
Ruffneck raises her Charred black rose toward the heavens and recites 'sanctus
Exzordus'
