Ok... i know the arches are probably tired of seeing the stuff about a ranged
nomad guild... but I feel there is merit in it... At least a ranged guild. not
necessarily nomad. I would suggest a civilized fighter. If the ranged is
kept to bows/crossbows..and not grenades then it would make sense. The civ
fighters can spend money on arrows (1gp a piece or something like that.) and
being civilized, you have the possibility to enchant the arrows for +dam
types. now, an obvious command is Target. If you dont aim at the target ...
you cant hit it. so target would be necessary, if not targeted..then you have
the possibility of shooting your team mates. or even if you target, then you
could..you are SHOOTING over or through your party. Skills would be aiming,
targeting, Enhance criticals, cast arrow enchantment, and rapid fire. Plus
others. Spells would include: Enchant arrow, <dam type> arrow, <extra damage
type> arrow... etc There is also the possibility for affecting merchants
too... merchants could make arrows/bows. Mages could enchant them,or sommat
like that... I do feel that it would be best for Civilized to have a ranged
guild, with supporting skills and spells.

All this talk about bows and crossbows are neat, very cool, been thinking
about this for long. I'd like rangers to have a basic archery skill, so would
civilized fighters, perhaps other nomad guilds too, like barbarians, or
beastmasters. Why, all nomads could get that, but here would be my idea: There
would be two guilds that specializes on archery, perhaps to both civilized and
nomads, not sure. Other ones would be snipers, they'd for long time but hit
hard, the other one would be rapid archers that hit many times, one or
multiple enemies. Now that I think about it, they can be on same guild in the
end... But yes, multibackground, like squire, because both nomad and civilized
fighters need more attention.

The shaman guild is nice, they could talk to spirits and maybe raise deads,
boost nomads or summon spirits inside themselves or others, giving bonuses to
ep/sp/hp/stats/stuff, lots of neat stuff.

Third idea is to implant dirty fighter guild. This far only civilized fighters
get dirty fighting, but they don't get any unarmed fighting skills (as in
martial arts), and dirty fighting doesn't work unless you're unarmed, so it's
quite strange. There should be different kind of unarmed skill, maybe cheaper
and not so effective as martial arts, it could be called streetfighting or
something. Give them lots of dirty tricks to do against enemies, grabbling,
dirty fighting, anything that is quick and dirty. Although martial arts in
real life look nice, it takes lots of time to study one and some moves are not
so affective, some are even totally useless, some do work very well. But
thinking about people who do the dirty fighting, they are really dangerous and
effective, hitting there where it hurts most and using all the dirty tricks
that can be found, from groin kicking to smashing head on floor, biting ear to
poking in eyes, attacking in bigbig group to hitting from behind. It's not
beautiful, it's nasty, it's fast to learn, and it works. Yes, a guild of dirty
fighters.

Fourth idea I got when I was turned into a newt (I got better), there could be
a curse of a spider that turns you into a spider. Of course all the stats
would drop very very low, size to 1 or something, just like being a newt and
frog. But the bonus would be that you could freely walk on spider webs and
would automatically get up on areas that require climbing check, just like
frogs can swim very well in water. And although all stats are very low, you
could get a small poison bite and make small webs that affect on players and
creatures that size are veeery tiny. Being a small bug crawling to different
places is surely nice if just using imagination.
