It really should be bound to exp gained, not to time. (Like suggested).
The current system is really bad, because it's hard to get people to
help with quests/tasks/restores/sac-eqs/whatnot after boot, because people
are waiting for powerhour-party.

Also, if the powerhour was bound ot exp, it would level the field
between players.

I put it in to get the ball rolling so to speak. I think I will be changing
it to do more like first X exp earned gets the bonus. It seems like that will
be the best all around. It works for people who play 10 min at a time 5 times
daily, and also works for the guy that idle/chats for 5 hours and then plays.

Perhaps you might consider modifying it so that it does more or lasts longer
for people with more total experience (including safe, not including spent on
rebirth). E.g. someone with 100K xp can get phour for 10K xp / X time,
someone with 1M can get it for 100K (or 50K) / 2X time, someone with 10M can
get it for 500K (or 250K) / 4X (3X?) time, someone with 100M can get it for
say 1M (or 500K) / 6X (4X?) time. (This is a for instance, not a suggested
formula.)

That way there\'s a steadily increasing benefit for higher players, but the amt
/ degree of benefit steadily decreases so it\'s not too overwhelming for higher
players?

PS: I like and appreciate PHour, and am not advocating its removal or even
necessarily change. But, if you\'re soliciting ideas, here\'s one. (Please
don\'t pkill me now, SSMud! *cower in phear*)
