Shinarae, could please size matter more in the ambush-issue?
I mean a tiny ant or a sparrow can simply not ambush and block
the way of a 300kg Minotaur or a one ton Titan no matter how it tries.
the weight and size issues simply clash.
Now since BatMUD punishes us for having a small size when using throw weight
and all that, why does it ignore size differences so completely in ambush?
I mean sure, ambush is a skill and somebody can be good at it - BUT as
undeads cannot be lured (as it has no nerves) or are very very difficult
to dim mak, why mobs with a size of 10 can block the way of a car sized
fully equipped ramming figure.

I mean if a bird would attempt to block my path, I could just simply
run through it no matter how good it would be in 'pecking'
or 'flapping', no skill can outperform that kind of a size difference.

Acidia, I think you misread a couple of my recent posts:
-- tiny monsters cannot ambush huge players, and
-- if it is still happening, there is a bug in the special code affecting you
(spell, skill, or eq).

If I were a tiny ant or a pixie or something trying to ambush a giant, I'd dig
a pit trap in the ground, set up trip wires, perhaps if I were a mage I'd make
some sort of invisible wall...imagine a giant running through the room at
100mph (probably about how fast people run with the run commands) and then the
giant runs headfirst into a big invisible wall...perhaps ambushes should cause
dam too!
