Could ambush please be looked at? At the moment you seem to need either 400
int or dex to have a remote chance to avoid an ambush, this is quite
ridiculous as most players cannot achieve close to this. I need to have my int
gear on to boost up to some 380 int at which point I usually dont get
ambushed, but naked with 265 int I cannot avoid ambushes for anything.

To address these comments:
-- you do _not_ need either a 400 int or dex to have "a remote" chance of
avoiding an ambush. In fact, common knowledge has it that 400 int or dex will
make you more or less ambush-free.
-- 400 int or dex to be ambush free is not ridiculous. Ambush-free is a huge
asset. It should be hard to get because it is so powerful.
-- "MOst" players cannot get 400 int or dex. This is true. Most players are
tarmies, who have the ambush avoidance of an adobe brick. That's probably why
they don't solo or lead parties much. That's not really their job, either.
-- if you gte ambushed more with your +int gear _off_ than _on_, well, maybe
you should wear it? It is one of the advantages of that stat, after all.
-- 265 int "cannot avoid ambushes for anything" Actually, it's closer to
fifty-fifty. I checked. Twice.
-- Maybe wandering through areas filled with hostile monsters alone isn't a
great idaa? That sounds like something a mage (with 265 int, I'm guessing mage
here) wouldn't want to do.

Shinarae, I'm not sure how aware you are of the current eq/stat layouts of
players, but 401 int for any non-newbie mage is definitely doable (over 300
naked, +100 int eqset costs what, 10m?), but check how many people have 400dex
and come back to me. (Typically, you cannot afford dex +ss in most
dex-oriented reincs, and without that you need about +160 dex with most
'usable' races, and there isn't that much dex eq that is gettable barring wish
scrolls.)
