The main point: Pirate ships should have a small chance of desting forever or
taking HUGE damage (-1 class) if they continue their evil acts. This would
encourage more risk and fun for pirates and pirate hunters alike. It would
also discourage pests like Rocker.
As far as I know, there is no official rule that you cannot steal people's
kills/loot, it is just etiquet that you don't, and if you do, then the person
is free to pkill your ass until loot is returned and/or apology is
made/whatever, and I'm sure most wizzes would agree that deliberate kill/loot
stealing is a 'good reason'. You're right, piracy is no different, so if
someone sinks you, pkill them. Piracy is within the mud rules, but it is an
agressive action and totally a fair reason for pkilling. Obviously no arch is
going to put up with you pkilling some pirate (or killstealer) 100 times just
for stealing some 2k worth from you, or pkilling someone just because they are
a pirate, but I bet they have no problem with slaughtering the scum after they
have sunk your ship.
